Bio
The youngest sibling of 10 children from a poverty-stricken block on
Ridgeway of Flint, MI., Snakeye Records proudly presents Ellery Morgan,
A.K.A., E-Mo. All of my days spent in Flint, MI would no be complete
without the story of my 4 brothers. I was born into the music industry
and my brothers formed a band before I was born and it was called the
'Inner Soul Expression' and they were experienced professionals.
I can recall many times when they went on road trips; I would play on
the instruments and sing various songs. I would practice their songs and
other songs over and over because I felt that if they ever needed a
replacement, I would be the next person in line. This and many other
things really influence me to sing more often and become more and more
musically inclined.
During my later years I began emulating popular artist such as Luther
Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, BB King, Jeffrey Osborn, and many
more. One of my styles of music would be ghetto reality music because of
the struggles I have been through. I have always said during my life and
times, everything that happened to me came by God's grace and mercy.
I believe the music industry is a powerful tool in reaching our young
people today. Through my singing and song writing, I intend to make a
difference because these experiences helped me to look at ways to
challenge my abilities and strive to become a more successful
individual. |
